Best of Nashville…Thus Far

Yes, it’s only been about 2 1/2 weeks into the year of 2017 but I’ve experienced food wise some of the best in my life, EVER. It’s like my taste buds have been awakened to a whole new world (I’m singing this like Jasmine and Aladdin ). This post is going to be mainly about food, coffee, views, and a surprise that is all the trend right now.

If you haven’t been to Farm Burger in Nashville, you are missing out and I feel bad for you. I’m mostly kidding but really I do feel bad if you haven’t had the best burger you’ll ever consume. At least that was the case for me and my boyfriend who might I add doesn’t like burgers all that much. You can build a burger just like you can build a bear and who doesn’t like doing that fun stuff?

Ok, so I’m being basic right now but these new Cascara Lattes and Sous Vide Egg Bites from Starbucks are the bomb. I despise hot drinks so I got mine iced and it was such a refreshing sweet coffee, loved it! These egg white and roasted red pepper bites were phenomenal as well (I wanted the bacon wrapped ones but they were sold out because the public loves do I public, as do I).

This picture doesn’t give this view justice. It’s in the Gulch area and right beside the train tracks. It has a eerie/city life vibe which is pretty much me as a person so I dug it. Shoutout to my friend Brittany who’s balcony I took this photo off of.

This was at Tokyo Japanese Steak House in the Green Hills area of Nashville and my goodness was it delicious and filling. They filled our plates to the rim and the service was excellent. It’s definitely my new favorite hibachi place to go to here now.

This is my new favorite coffee (mocha latte) at Dose Coffee & Tea if I want to be energized for the ENTIRE day. I kid you not I had this coffee at 9:30 in the morning and was wired until about midnight that night. I not only got a lot of work done but I also got a lot of housework done as well. I’m super caffeine sensitive so this may not work on but it sure has heck worked its coffee magic on me.

Last but not least, the all famous salt lamps that surprisingly are the new “it” thing to have this year. While many are being recalled because they catch aflame (weird) mine is good to go because I ordered it off of Amazon and Amazon wouldn’t do that to me… This one in particular is gone with the wind in the Amazon world so search around for your perfect one. A little tip for you, don’t spend more than $40 (mine was like $25 and I’m happy with mine). If you spend more than that..well it’s a lamp made of salt so I don’t get why you’d do that but to each his own.

I hope y’all enjoyed my best of Nashville thus far edition. Be expecting these every month or so and some new and improved changes soon (involving better quality photos) I have some things in the works to make this blog 110% the way I want it. Stay groovy peeps.
