Skin Care Routine

I get told quite often that I have really great skin. I also get told I look like I’m 12…I have a baby face and I’m proud. I have fair skin so I don’t tan easily, maybe that’s what helps me. I have been told by many people to never tan. Tanning causes wrinkles and ages you beyond measure but seriously, I don’t want to be translucent in the summer. I don’t use tanning beds in the summer…I do regret to say that I use them in the transition period from winter to spring. I do plan on this coming up next year to just fake bake (use spray tans/self tanner). The sun and UV rays are no joke. I’m not here to preach at you about tanning beds because we all know they are terrible. I just recommend you try fake baking like me.

Here is my skin care regimen:

Step 1- Murad Essential C Cleanser ~ you can buy this at Sephora and I use this daily as soon as I hop in the shower. It makes your face feel so refreshed and gives it a boost of energy that it needs. If you tan regularly this is a great product for you because it replenishes damaged skin.

Step 2- Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleansing Towelettes ~ you can buy this at Ulta, Walmart, most drugstores. This is a great makeup for remover, especially if you have sensitive skin like I do. I always remove my makeup before I go to bed and these make me feel so refreshed.

*side note if you don’t remove your makeup before bed, you need to. It’;s very damaging to skin if you don’t*img_6269-1

Step 3- Freeman Feeling Beautiful mask products are my absolute favorite products ever!! I personally loved the Anti-Stress Mask with Dead Sea Minerals (blue mask) and the Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask (black gritty mask). I would recommend any of these products because after a long stressful week, you need to pamper yourself. I mix these two products for a double whammy effect. I use these every Sunday night as a relaxing getaway while I eat popcorn and binge watch Stranger Things on Netflix.

FINAL STEP-  and voila, you can look like this in just a matter of days…. ;DIMG_5865

In all seriousness, I was blessed with semi decent skin but if you weren’t, that doesn’t make you any less beautiful. We all face the agony of pimples and breakouts. Find what works for you and if someone ever calls you out for lifes natural occurrence then hair flip them to the side because they’re jerks and you’re hot.
