Nature Post

FullSizeRender (2)I’ve always enjoyed being outside. Whether it was in the woods/creek where I grew up, the lake (also where I grew up), swimming, running, etc. I have always felt close with nature. I love water, all types of water really; swimming pools, lakes, and oceans have always made me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable world. It’s cathartic to be in a large body of water for me. When I’m in the ocean I have this crazy overwhelming feeling of relief. I fell like it’s okay to seem small sometimes because there are things bigger than me at work. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t swan dive into the ocean abyss but when I do wade into the water, I feel relaxed and at ease, which can be hard for me to feel sometimes.

Nature photos are fun. I like a little photo shoot every once in a while when I’m in nature settings. Most of the time I just enjoy the view. When you’re stressed and you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Get out of your house, walk or drive to a nature spot, and just breathe. Breathe in the untouched air. Look around and realize that things could be worse but in that moment things are perfect.
