Brrrr, it is super cold out here in Kentucky and boy am I already over it. I’m a summer and beginning of fall kind of lady; I’m not cut out for this 20 degree weather. Fashion is hard to do when all you want to do is wear layers upon layers of flannels and a ski mask that scares small children and the elderly. I get it, I don’t want to put forth a bunch of effort when I could just lay in the comfort of my warm, soft bed and binge watch New Girl on Netflix. Fashion doesn’t rest and neither should your fabulous attire and style.
Shirt: Old Navy
Scarf: The Blue Heron // this is a beautiful boutique located in my hometown that I worked at for almost two years; here is the link to check out some of their products
Pants: Dillard’s (for $10 because Dillard’s is love and they have crazy good sales sometimes.)
Boots: Steve Madden (EXPENSIVE but you can find a good pair of boots for cheap literally anywhere)
All together cost of look: $150-$160 (the boots are to blame for this price rise)
My advice for you when it’s cold outside is to run. Run everywhere you go so you can run to a heated building so you can be nice and safe and toasty… Just kidding that would be very strange but some actual useful advice I can give you is make your outfits cute by adding beanies and those cool texting gloves that are all around these days. Also, how can you go wrong with scarves? They are like stylish neck warmers that make people say, “Oh man, they look so warm and stylish, I wish that I was warm and stylish.” They will think that, trust me. On that note all I have to say is stay warm, stay stylish, and you stay classy San Diego (aka: stay classy no matter your location). 🙂
