This outfit is one of my favorites because it took little effort yet it is still super cute.
Sweater: Charlotte Russe (a friend got it for me for Christmas; thanks girl!)
Scarf: Charlotte Rusee (it was on sale; I never buy things full priced and neither should you.)
Jeans: Hollister
Purse: Steve Madden/Plato’s Closet (for a bargain of $21)
Shoes: Journeys; brand—Not Rated
All together cost of look: between $120-140
A lot of people probably squirm in their seats as they see that I have paired a cheetah (or maybe leopard..I don’t know I’m not good at deciphering the coat of a large animal cat of the wild) with a crazy patterned scarf. Well, rock those crazy patterns like it’s 1999. The way I figured it would work is because the cheetah (or leopard) spots are black and the scarf had hints of black in it and voila, that was my well thought out intelligent thought process of pairing cheetah prints with a bold scarf.
Sometimes I dream about what I’m going to wear and when I awake from my slumber I’m all like hell yeah, I’m about to be the most stylish chick walking these campus streets! Then sometimes that dream is destroyed when I try on this “exquisite” outfit and I end up looking like a frumpy 92 year old man who rocks the occasional combat boots with a cool mineral ring. Either way, you never know unless you try. You win some you lose some.
